Framework legal and lawful of associations
in Tunisia
The AssociaNet project answers the aspirations of Tunisian associations
which wished to realise, within the framework of the promotion of the new
telematic service an electronic network of communication. This network
allows: - to sail on internet and to collect information on various Tunisian
associations; - to consult? outdistance a base of data relating to the
organisations of the company - to remotely consult a base of data relating
to the organisations of the civil company; - to make circulate information
on community life and diffuse autoformation and training programs for the
promotion of this sector in the field of management, the right, the
environment and new information technologies.

ROLE OF ASSOCIATIVE FABRIC IN the REALIZATION OF the ELECTORAL PROGRAM OF
the PRESIDENT BEN ALI (1999-2004) President Zine El Abidine BEN ALI put
forward the contribution that the associative sector can bring to the
realisation of its electoral program and defined the particular role that
this sector can play to achieve the following goals:
1st point employment, my priority: (partnership with the civil company)
" the civil company can contribute its share to the efforts made in
favour of the employment. The non governmental organisations will be invited
to engage a true partnership with the State and the local public bodies to
identify the new employment appropriateness and to encourage the young
people to reach it ".
3rd point To invest in the Knowledge: (to promote the partnership in the
field of scientific and technological search). " the partnership with
the erudite companies and scientific associations will be also encouraged in
the field of the research , the innovation and the development ".
4th point an able youth to affront a future in fast transfer : (support for
childrenhood) " to support the activities of associations and the
handicapped centers for children and to conceive a special program for the
children of the disinherited areas ".
7th point To improve the capacity of buying and the good being of the
citizen: (a more active participation of the civil company to help most
underprivileged) " the caritatives families and associations will be
associated with the other structures to reinforce this permanent share of
solidarity in favour of the social categories most vulnerable ". |

point a free and pluralist company: (an active participation of the civil
company) " my conviction is that community life is a school of the
citizenship. I will continue to encourage their share and to support the
creation of new associations ". 14th point an active, diversified and
total international partnership: (to accelerate the construction of the
Maghreb and to widen the field of the French-Malaysian co-operation to all
the fields) " I will incite the political parties, the large companies
of the private sector, actors of the civil company and in particular
organisations of youth to be broken with insulation and to establish a
direct co-operation with their homologues maghrébins. " 15th point A
culture of freedom, tolerance and solidarity: (to consolidate the securities
of solidarity: for Funds World of Solidarity) " I ask the international
Community as well as the non governmental organisations and the great
multinationals to be taken part in this humane program "..
