C - THE COORDINATOR :
I - DEFINITION:
Technician of the collective communication.
Practitioner without different statute.
Competent in pedagogy and in animation at the service of a practitioner group.
To answer to imperatives of the pedagogy, the coordinator must all the time to take account of criteria of the individual observation in animation.
He must be determined to observe attitudes and the production of members present at the different sessions of continuing
education.
II - INDIVIDUAL OBSERVATION SCHEDULE IN ANIMATION:
The following criteria enable to observe participants of a group in work. They
concern:

Attitudes:
We observe notably:
the listening (grandiloquent or filterable).
the vigilance (attentive or extinct).
the interaction (privileged or multiple).
the expression.
It is about observing.
the verbalization (applicable or maladjusted).
replies (favourable or useless).
confrontations (polite or quick-tempered).

where the coordinator must verify the quality:

1 - why a group?
The work of a group is more efficient than the work of an individual.
The group:
. stimulate the action.
. sustains the effort.
. increase the creativeness.
The group:
. opportunity of dialogue.
. mutual correction opportunity.
The phase of work in group improves performances of the individual.
The work of group is source of change.
2 - how to form a group?
All means are good for a coordinator to bring together a group of physicians for any kind of exercise and
speciality.
It is however recommended to bring together a group including a restricted number of people in order to multiply sessions.
3 - the management of a group:
There also, it is the role of the coordinator to allow everybody to
participate, to speak, to give his opinion, to ask questions, to vary and to enrich the
debate,.
4 - the dynamics of group:
It is the synthesis. Every participating even shy must be stimulated by the coordinator to formulate his
needs, to give his opinion, not to speak for long time . It requires of course a very specialized educational training.
E - THE DIFFERENT WAYS OF C.M.T
The medical press.
The intraining of the pharmaceutical industry.
The academic initiative.
The continuing education professional initiative requires:
. Decentralization.
. An adapted pedagogy.
. A responsibility of practitioners to all stages of the training
process.
PROBLEMS:
Difficult evaluation of the efficiency of the training.
Need of an objective evaluation of the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Require an essential associative movement (conviviality, dialogue, confrontation of
experiences, decompartmentalization between general practitioners and
specialists).
Require an educational approach.
F - THE EDUCATIONAL METHODS OF THE C.M.T
The magisterial conference (hospitalo-academic or specialist Expert).
The exposition - debate (hospitalo-academic Expert).
Groups of physicians with experts (specialist physicians).
Meetings in separated tables (follow-up of synthesis).
Cycles of perfection.
The seminary.
The hospitable training.
The staff around the file.
All means are good to make the C.M.T: nevertheless, the best method is the one that frequently regroups small groups of physicians that prepare themselves objective themes to itemize
(several files, several small clarifications, small readings, bibliography) with or without specialist experts.
The magisterial conference remains a means of C.M.T, used frequently but bad because it doesn't have physicians of first line really
participated, so much that they don't formulate precisely questions that they ask themselves within their
exercise.
All sessions of C.M.T must be formulated by an objective fixed by one or many
physicians. The choice of the objective must obey to criteria mentioned farther.
G - CHOICE OF AN OBJECTIVE EDUCATIONAL THEME
For every theme of C.M.T ,it will be necessary to develop different objectives:
Examples: illnesses of the digestive tube: 20 to 30 objectives to develop.
Exercise to make: choice of an objective theme to formulate in a certain speciality .
In general: it will be necessary to end to a BANK of questions.
The biggest problem is the way to choose an objective theme.
Indeed, it will be necessary that to each choice this objective meets the following
qualities:
relevant / logical / precise / feasible / observable / measurable
it is the reason for which the following grid must be tested every time that an objective theme wished by a physician is
proposed, it will be necessary to apply it these criteria.
You see so that a big theme HTA type, diabetes, traumatologies are very vast
themes, vague and they risk not to answer to the physician needs.

I - CHOICE OF AN OBJECTIVE :
